First Aid

As experienced practitioners our first aid courses are designed to be enjoyable and practical 1 to 3 days courses, as well as specific work environment-based course content.

 

Emergency First Aider in the Workplace (EFAW)

This one day course is designed to give you the basic requirements to deal with the most common first aid incidents and is recognised as the minimum requirement for a First Aider in a Low risk work environment. EFAW training enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. (Valid for 3 years).

 

Emergency First Aid in the Outdoors

This two day, 16 hour course First Aid in the Outdoors course provides the minimum training for first aid required as a prerequisite for most National Governing Body awards. The syllabus is directly aimed at the outdoor instruction industry but is also suitable to anyone working in the outdoors including; construction workers, landscapers, gardeners, tree surgeons.

Day 1 of the course is classroom based, where as day 2 is set in the outdoors and concentrates purely on realistic outdoor scenarios.

 

First Aid at Work (FAW)

This three day first aid at work training course is required by many employers and gives a thorough grounding in First Aid in the workplace. We specialise in providing these courses for the outdoor industry (Valid for 3 years)

 

Paediatric First Aid

A 12 hour first aid training course run over two consecutive days or as two separate units. This qualification meets the requirements laid down by Pre School Learning Alliance, National Child Minding Association and OFSTED & EYFS, for anyone working in professional childcare. Successful attendees will receive a certificate valid for three years.

 

Bespoke First Aid Courses

We can run additional training courses on request to include Defibrillator training and Anaphylaxis response. We also can also run specialised closed courses on request including equine specific first aid, water sport specific first aid, and forestry first aid response.
