This unique course has been designed by Adventure Consultancy Director, Anthony, who has 30 years’ experience working as a professional expedition guide all over the world including the first descent of rivers, in remote jungles, arctic regions, on the oceans and across the world’s mountain ranges. He has guided, provided logistics, designed bespoke trips and been the expedition expert for Amazon prime, BBC and Discovery Channel.
The course is suited to those that are either considering a career in adventure travel or expedition leadership, or those planning to take go on their own adventure or expedition. The course content is both practical and theory based delivering a wide range of topics that can be applied to international adventure travel around the world. The 5-day course includes 5 separate modules to work through incuding a 2 day/1 night camping exercise.

• Remote First Aid & Specific environmental medical considerations (Altitude, cold, heat) – Scenarios based training.

• Sustainable tourism and environmental impact.
• Camping, lodges, team house and mountain huts – considerations.
• Navigation skills.
